What is Voice over Wifi (VoWifi Calling)

VoWiFi Calling is the latest technology introduced for smartphones that allow smartphone users to make and receive calls over a Wi-Fi network using their existing phone number.

VoWiFi is a harmonious technology to VoLTE and it makes use of IMS technology to provide a data packet-based voice service that is delivered over Internet Protocol (IP) over a Wi-Fi network. And the VoLTE calls may be seamlessly handed over between LTE and VoWi-Fi and vice versa.

For a seamless calling experience with your handset, it is recommended that you should keep both VoLTE and Wi-Fi Calling enabled.
You can make Vo Wi-FI calling while roaming.
Just enable WiFi calling and VoLTE in your mobile and make and receive calling normally with your built-in calling app. No additional app is required for Vo Wi-Fi calling.
The Vo Wi-Fi Calling feature is available at no additional charge and it is included as part of your existing voice plan.
Wi-Fi calls to international numbers are billed as International Calls.
