Realme dark mode | All realme devices to get system-wide dark mode

Realme dark mode: We all know that there is no option to apply system-wide dark mode in realme devices. And this feature will come in Android 10 OS upgrade. The dark mode is an Android 10 feature.

Realme has just announced in its community that all realme devices will get system-wide dark mode. And Realme all devices including Realme 1, 2, 3, 5, C1, C2, U1, 3i, 2 Pro, 3 Pro, 5 Pro, X and XT will get dark mode feature through OTA update.

System-wide dark mode release date

Dark mode feature in realme devices will be provided in Q4 2019. All realme devices will get this feature via OTA before the end of the year 2019.

Dark mode feature will remain optional in future updates. You will be able to change enable or disable dark mode in settings.

System-wide dark mode has already been successfully tested in Realme 3 Pro. But realme 3 Pro may not be the first device to get dark mode as a built-in app because it will be delivered to the latest realme devices like realme X and XT.

Realme older devices like realme 1, 2, C1 and U1 will get it after all new realme devices get it.

Dark mode supported apps

There are many apps which support dark mode. You can change the dark mode in those applications. List of popular apps which support dark mode is as follows:

YouTube

You can enable dark mode in youtube in any android mobile. Follow the given below steps to enable dark mode in YouTube:

  • Open youtube app
  • Go to youtube settings by clicking on upper right corner icon.
  • Click on settings.
  • Click on general.
  • Now enable the Dark theme option.
  • You have all done.

Google Drive

  • Open the google drive app.
  • Click on three dots on the upper left side.
  • Click on settings.
  • In the theme option click on Choose theme.
  • And now select Dark theme.
  • You have all done.

Twitter

  • Open the Twitter app.
  • Click on the upper left side icon.
  • Click on settings and privacy.
  • In the general section, click on Display and sound option.
  • Click on dark mode option.
  • Here you can set ON or Automatic at sunset.
  • You have all done.

Realme Built-in Browser

  • Open realme browser.
  • Click on three-dot menu at the bottom.
  • Click on Night Mode.
  • You have all done. The dark mode is activated in the realme built-in browser.

Gboard

You can also set dark mode or any other mode in Google keyboard (Gboard).

  • Open Gboard app.
  • Click on Theme.
  • Here you can set your desired theme.
  • To apply the dark mode in google keyboard select black theme.
  • You have all done.

There are so many other apps which support dark mode. When dark mode will be available in realme devices through OTA, you will be able to apply dark mode in third party apps also. This dark mode will be system-wide. All built-in apps and third-party apps will support it in just a single click.

Realme dark theme

There are plenty of dark themes available in the realme theme store. So you can use dark themes from the realme theme store.

Open realme theme store app and search for black and dark. You will find so many dark and black themes there. Select your desired theme and apply.

If you want to try some more custom dark themes in your mobile then you can also use them.
